Key Features and Specifications

• Efficiency with EC Motor: The Centro EC Metal In-Line Centrifugal Duct Fan range is engineered for maximum efficiency, featuring high-efficiency direct current EC (Electronically Commutated) motors with external rotors and backward-curved blades. Unlike traditional AC motors, EC motors offer significant advantages:
  • Energy Efficiency: EC motors are renowned for their energy-saving capabilities. They can provide up to 35% energy savings compared to traditional asynchronous AC motors, making them an environmentally friendly and cost-effective choice.
  • Precise Speed Control: EC motors allow for precise and continuous speed control. This means that you can fine-tune the fan’s performance to meet the specific requirements of your ventilation system, resulting in optimal energy usage and comfort.
  • Low Maintenance: EC motors are designed for longevity and efficiency. They have no friction or wearing parts like capacitors and brushes, resulting in virtually maintenance-free operation. This reduces the need for costly and time-consuming motor replacements.
  • Reduced Heat Generation: EC motors produce less heat during operation compared to AC motors. This not only contributes to their energy efficiency but also helps maintain a cooler operating environment, extending the lifespan of the fan and associated components.
• Various Duct Diameters: With duct diameter options ranging from 100mm to 315mm, this extractor fan range offers installation flexibility and compatibility with a variety of round air ducts.
• German EC Motors: These extractor fans are powered by German EC motors known for their efficiency, reliability, and precise speed control. EC motors ensure a completely controllable speed range for the fan and come with integrated overheating protection and automatic restart.
• 5-Year Blauberg Warranty: Backed by a 5-year warranty from Blauberg, you can trust in the durability and performance of the Centro EC Metal In-Line Centrifugal Duct Fan with EC Motor.

Versatile Use:
The Centro EC Metal fan is designed for supply and extract ventilation systems in various premises. It can be directly mounted inside air ductworks, making it an ideal choice for arranging energy-saving and controllable ventilation systems. This fan is compatible with round air ducts ranging from 100mm to 400mm in diameter, providing versatility in installation.
Efficient EC Motor Technology

• Energy-Saving EC Motor: The high-efficient direct current EC motor with external rotor and backward-curved blades is at the heart of this fan’s exceptional performance. EC technology delivers substantial energy savings compared to traditional asynchronous motors.
• Maintenance-Free Operation: EC motors have no friction and wearing parts like capacitors and brushes. Instead, they incorporate a maintenance-free EC controller electronic circuit board.
• Dynamic Balancing: The impeller is dynamically balanced to ensure smooth and vibration-free operation.
• Frequency Compatibility: The fan is compatible with both 50 Hz and 60 Hz power mains, and the maximum speed is independent of power mains frequency.

Precise Speed Control:
The fan speed is precisely controlled via a 0–10 V control signal from various sources, including integrated or external speed controllers, controllers with sensors, and central building management systems (BMS). This control signal adjusts the fan’s rotation speed to deliver the required air volume to the ventilation system, enabling precise ventilation control.
Robust Design and Installation:

• Steel Casing: The fan’s casing is constructed from steel with a special polymer coating for durability..
• Aerodynamic Shape: The casing boasts an aerodynamically shaped design, optimizing airflow and performance.
• External Terminal Box: An external terminal box facilitates power mains connection.
• Flexible Installation: The fan can be mounted in any position, and models with connecting diameters from 100mm to 315mm come with standard mounting brackets for wall or ceiling installation. Flexible air ducts can be easily secured to the fan spigots with clamps.

Elevate your ventilation system with the Blauberg Centro EC Metal In-Line Centrifugal Duct Fan with EC Motor. With its impressive efficiency, precise control, and energy-saving capabilities, this extractor fan is designed to meet the highest ventilation standards. Backed by Blauberg’s trusted warranty, you can rely on the Centro EC Metal series for years of efficient and controllable ventilation, all while reaping the benefits of EC motor technology.
