BD Series – Backdraught Dampers – Framefit Backdraft Damper – BSB
The BD series Backdraught Dampers are Self-opening backdraught dampers designed to restrict air backflow.
Suitable for installation in partitions, brick walls, plenums, or duct-mounted applications.
The self-opening linked blade assembly will open/close subject to air velocity.
Suitable for vertical installation or horizontal with a blade limiting angle.
Unless stated otherwise, flange models are suitable for classes A & B of DW144, with spigot models being suitable for classes A, B and C of DW144, Normal operating conditions – up to a maximum of 1000Pa.
Sizes :
- Flangefit, Framefit and Spigotfit 100mm x 100mm up to 600mm x 1000mm.
- Circular spigotfit 100mm to 1000mm dia
Above 600mm wide 2 x multiple unit.
Welds are treated with protective corrosion-resistant, environmentally friendly water-based paint. The edge seals are nylon brush seals.
Performance and application:
- Temperature: 0°C to +70°C
- Velocity: 1m/s to 14m/s, horizontal airflow.
